Montessori School Administrator​/Director

Lakewood Montessori School is looking for an organized, people-centered administrator to keep our school running smoothly behind the scenes - so our teachers can focus on what they do best. This is a key leadership role for someone who enjoys balancing operations, compliance, and family communication in a warm, mission-driven environment.

• Oversee day-to-day operations and coordinate staff scheduling and coverage
• Serve as the main point of contact for parent inquiries, emails, and school communications
• Manage child registrations, enrollment records, and program documentation
• Maintain state licensing compliance, including policy reviews and required reporting
• Coordinate staff meetings, prepare board reports, and administer employee benefits
• Support the full employee lifecycle - hiring, onboarding, contract renewals, and personnel records
• Keep the facility running smoothly by coordinating maintenance, supplies, and seasonal operational needs

• Experience in early childhood education and a genuine care for young children
• Administrative or operations experience in a professional setting
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn new software
• The ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
• Physical ability to lift objects or carry children up to 40 pounds
