Temporary Administrative Assistant

Location: Vintage Park Area – Houston, TX

Position Type: Temporary / Contract (4 months)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, Business Hours

Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on experience

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Temporary Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations for a busy professional office in the Vintage Park area of Houston. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys multitasking, and can provide excellent administrative support with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Greet visitors and provide professional front desk support
  • Manage calendars, scheduling, and meeting coordination
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and office documents
  • Handle filing, scanning, and general office organization
  • Support team members with administrative projects as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Qualifications
  • Two years previous administrative, receptionist, or office support experience preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Professional demeanor and dependable attendance
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in a corporate or professional office environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
