Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant II for a contract/temporary opportunity in Houston, TX within the chemicals and petro-chemicals industry. This role is ideal for a highly organized administrative professional who enjoys supporting leaders, managing complex schedules, coordinating travel, and keeping business operations running smoothly. The Administrative Assistant II will provide proactive, confidential, and detail-oriented support to one or more leaders in a professional corporate environment.

The right candidate will be trusted to anticipate needs, solve scheduling challenges, communicate professionally, and contribute to an efficient and well-coordinated office environment.
- Provide proactive administrative support to one or more leaders with a high level of independence, discretion, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Manage calendars and inboxes, prioritize requests, anticipate needs, and resolve scheduling conflicts across multiple stakeholders and time zones.
- Coordinate in-person and virtual meetings, including agendas, materials, logistics, room setup, technology support, and follow-up action items.
- Arrange complex domestic and international travel, including itineraries, travel communications, and visa or passport coordination as needed.
- Track, reconcile, and submit travel and business expenses accurately and in accordance with company policy.
- Prepare, format, proofread, and manage correspondence, reports, presentations, SharePoint content, distribution lists, seating charts, and related administrative materials.
