Job Description

Purpose and Scope:
The Part-Time Coordinator II facilitates daily operations within the assigned area. Responsibilities include coordination of support functions such as scheduling, communications, workflows, supplies, information processing, and staff support. The coordinator may also manage budget planning and track expenditures, as well as make process decisions based on best practices.

Essential Job Functions
  • Coordinate daily operations of assigned area. Maintain records. Maintain current knowledge base of assigned area and act as a point of contact for internal and external customers.
  • Schedule and prioritize work and activities and organize training materials for staff.
  • Create and submit a variety of reports related to assigned area and present findings. May make presentations to both internal and external customers.
  • Coordinate various department and leadership calendars and schedules. Plan, schedule and coordinate various meetings/seminars/events, including site selection and preparation, marketing and training materials, and general support.
  • Ensure and maintain compliance with local/state/federal regulations of processes and documentation within assigned area.
  • Monitor and control resources such as office supplies and equipment needed within the department. Submit requisitions, and review and approve or deny purchase requests in accordance with the budget. Assist with management of the department budget.
  • Assist with creating methods of evaluation of assigned area. Analyze results and make recommendations for revisions to objectives and strategies.
  • Assist with management of the department budget.
  • Take part in and/or lead special projects as needed.
  • Focus on the student experience, including learning centers, labs, student activities, curriculum and instruction, tutoring and training, advising and counseling, transcript evaluation, enrollment, orientations, recruitment and outreach. May work closely with faculty.
  • Perform other reasonable related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of general office and software applications.
  • Ability to prepare and analyze reports.
  • Possesses excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities with the ability to prioritize duties.
  • High level of customer service.
Physical Abilities

The work is sedentary. The employee may walk, stand, bend, carry light items, or drive an automobile.

Work Schedule and Conditions
  • Equipment used includes a PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone, and other general office equipment.
  • Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position.
  • Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate's degree and at least three years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Salary

Hourly Pay Rate: $20.29
