Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant (Accounting & Finance) will be responsible for providing support to the Accounting and Finance department with data entry, data management, and general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and proactive individual and will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate financial processing by coordinating with internal stakeholders and maintaining organized financial records.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records (primarily using Excel and Sage 300)
- Support the accounting team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
- Follow up with internal departments to collect required documentation and information for timely processing
- Help manage and reconcile credit card transactions
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of timely processing
- Perform other duties as assigned by the accounting team
- High School diploma or equivalent required; some college level courses, or AA degree preferred
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and other standard office software
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and follow‑up abilities
- Familiarity with credit card and expense management processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
- Pre‑employment background checks will be required
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times
