POSITION SUMMARYThe Administrative Assistant will work directly with the department’s Managing Attorney. They should be comfortable with computers, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. They are responsible for handling fact-finding projects and gathering and organizing documents and information.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Perform data entry duties, including, but not limited to, tracking metrics within the department.
- Handle incoming calls and other communication with clients and third parties
- Maintain ongoing relationships with our firms’ outside co-counsel, clients, and medical providers.
- Maintain and organize electronic case files, including, but not limited to gathering updates on our divisions’ files with outside counsel.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Full-time, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, M-F.
- High school/GED diploma required.
- Personal Injury experience preferred.
Legal experience preferred. - Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate with clients and co-workers effectively and efficiently.
- Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
