Hunter Hamilton is partnering with a fast‑paced, growing organization seeking an experienced accounting professional to join their finance and administrative team. We are looking for someone who can manage accounts payable operations while supporting broader administrative functions. This is a contract‑to‑hire role working 5 days a week onsite, in the Galleria area of Houston.

Responsibilities
  • Support and supervise offshore Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payment Processing teams, resolving any issues that arise. This includes printing AP checks, same‑day wires/ACH, wire/ACH template setup, 1099s, and depositing checks.
  • Oversee the employee expense report process, addressing discrepancies and collaborating with teams as needed.
  • Research and resolve financial discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Perform administrative support duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors, processing mail, and deliveries.
  • Support company administration functions, such as corporate insurance (COI), property tax appraisals/renditions, and compliance management (e.g., collection licenses).
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant hands‑on accounting experience or college‑level education in Accounting. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.
  • Experience managing or supporting accounts payable operations is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
