Bookkeeper | Finance

City Security Services provides customized security guard services to local clients in Houston, TX.

To be successful in this position, we are looking for an individual to be technology savvy, and familiar with corporate finance administration.

The Bookkeeper position provides support for, and directly reports to, the Director of Finance. Demonstrating efficiency & integrity in every action and interaction, along with effectively and consistently completing the tasks listed below, is essential for one to be successful in this opportunity. The tasks listed below provide a basic guide of your daily duties. However, this role serves as a member of the leadership team  such, the nature of this position requires planning, initiative, and flexibility.

Quick Books experience is an absolute must for this position.

Bookkeeper
  • Proficiency with Online Quick Books software.
  • Competent in General Ledger reporting system.
  • Balancing and reconciling bank statements in QB.
  • Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable.
  • Ensure invoicing is accurately submitted on a timely basis.
  • Follow up on all outstanding invoices, escalating collections as needed.
  • Intermediate math skills.
  • Track Tik Financial Management - Invoice and Receivables data entry & reports (will train).
Office Administration
  • Assist in any assigned administrative aspects of the office.
  • Assist in Track Tik Guard Management Software (will train)
  • Manage office supplies and stationery.
  • Verify the accuracy of data and other information in the records and reports.
  • Answer telephone calls, take messages, answer questions, and provide information as needed.
  • Assist with internal communications.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Company.
