Administrative Assistant

Executive Personnel Services, Inc., is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our corporate team in Houston, TX.

The ideal candidate will be a hard-working with an energetic personality who is able to undertake a variety of support tasks. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and will be able to communicate effectively with the executive team and clients.

General Responsibilities:

  • Receive and distribute all incoming mail/packages
  • Provide exemplary customer service to clients, candidates, and employees
  • Answer incoming calls and screen for transfer to proper department/individual
  • Monitor and maintain centralized e-mail for new job requisitions
  • Act as gatekeeper for incoming calls and receive office visitors
  • Provide support to the hiring team to screen candidates, update applicant tracking system, distribute and collect new hire documentation
  • Provide assistance to the accounting department for payroll processing
  • Monitor inventory of office supplies and submit orders when needed
  • Requirements:

    • Must have completed 2 years of college courses (Required)
    • Previous experience in the Staffing/HR Industry (Preferred)
    • At minimum 2 years of experience in a Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, or Client Services role
    • Ability to receive, review, understand and distribute job requisitions
    • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to work effectively independently with limited supervision
    • Ability to sit, stand/walk periodically throughout the day; and lift 20-30 pounds
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Exceptional customer/guest service skills
    • Ability to solve problems in an effective manner
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all guests and associates
    • Professional appearance and demeanor
