About the Role

We are seeking a detail oriented and highly organized Operations Clerk to join our fast paced team in Northwest Houston. This position supports daily business operations through administrative, transactional, and data entry functions. The ideal candidate will assist with sales order processing, inventory transactions, record maintenance, and general operational support while ensuring accuracy and efficiency across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter, review, and process sales orders accurately and timely
  • Maintain and update inventory records within company systems
  • Assist with order fulfillment and transaction processing
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate operational records
  • Communicate with internal departments regarding order status, inventory availability, and customer requests
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to sales orders, inventory, and operational activities
  • Respond to phone and email inquiries in a professional manner
  • Support administrative and operational functions as needed
  • Assist with inventory reconciliations and record audits
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Strong problem solving and time management skills
  • Experience with order processing, inventory management, administrative support, or operational functions preferred
  • Experience with Net Suite or other ERP systems is a plus
  • Prior experience in transportation or logistics is preferred
