We are seeking a dependable and organized Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our childcare center. This role is the first point of contact for families and plays a key role in front desk management, compliance support, and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet families and visitors; answer phones and general inquiries
• Support enrollment and maintain student files and records
• Ensure enrollment, immunization, health, and CACFP documentation is complete
• Assist with licensing compliance, emergency drills, and required inspections
• Maintain menus, schedules, lesson plans, and classroom postings
• Order office and janitorial supplies
• Prepare newsletters, announcements, and parent communications
• Monitor Brightwheel messages and daily reports
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area
• Provide backup classroom or kitchen support as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Administrative or childcare experience required
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Must meet state childcare licensing and background requirements
