Job DescriptionKRESS Employment Screening is seeking an organized and dependable Administrative and Accounting Assistant to support our daily office operations and accounting functions.
Responsibilities- Answer, screen, and route incoming telephone calls.
- Greet visitors, receive deliveries, and maintain a professional front-office environment.
- Organize and maintain office supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed.
- Scan, organize, file, and distribute documents and correspondence.
- Help maintain current employee, vendor, corporate, and operational records.
- Assist with planning meetings, events, and employee activities.
- Process Accounts Payable invoices accurately and efficiently
- Process Accounts Receivable, including sending invoices, answering client questions, and following up on past-due amounts.
- Assist with other administrative and accounting tasks as assigned.
- At least two yearsof experience using Quick Books Online for accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Proficiency with applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to handle confidential business and employee information appropriately.
