Industrial Service Coordinator (Temp-to-Hire)

Location:

Houston, TX 77081

Start: ASAP

Pay: $28-$35/hour

Shift: 5am-1:30pm or 6am-2:30pm (some flexibility on schedule)

Essential functions:

• Write requisitions for parts on service jobs where applicable
• Issue purchase orders for non-inventory/non-company parts and supplies
• Get forecasted jobs on to Manpower Schedule for placement
• Manage daily reports with oversight from Service Manager or Ops Manager
• Special projects/reports per Ops Manager request
• Notify Warehouse of what material needs to be pulled and placed in the Designated WIP area
• Communicate with customers on upcoming work or potential delays or schedule pushes
• Answer phones, take messages, service calls and/or direct calls
• General office/administrative duties
• Assist with inventory and job materials
• Prepare RFQs

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• 3+ years' experience in administrative positions (time entry/payroll, data entry, requisitions/PO's, etc.)
• Customer service is essential to position.
• Organization is a key skill needed.
• Computer competency including Outlook, Word, Excel required.
• Basic understanding of trade skills industry terminology a plus.
• Must pass background check and drug screen
