The Bachrach Group is partnered with one of the leading global land and marine oilfield services companies on their search for a TAX COORDINATOR
. This role serves as a key resource for the tax function by providing comprehensive administrative, coordination, and project support to the Director of Tax and the department. This position combines executive support with project oversight, requiring the ability to organize complex workflows, monitor critical deadlines, and assist with the execution of department initiatives. Success in this role depends on strong analytical abilities, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with tax-related processes.
The ideal candidate is resourceful, highly organized, attentive to detail, and able to balance competing priorities while maintaining accuracy in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
At least 5 years of heavy office administrative experience within a corporate / public accounting / tax firm as well as a HS diploma are required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Executive & Administrative Support—
- Manage the Director's schedule, including meetings, calendar coordination, and communication flow
- Develop and organize materials such as presentations, reports, and briefing documents
- Oversee travel logistics, expense submissions, and other administrative needs
- Track the status of multiple tax initiatives to ensure deadlines and milestones are achieved
- Maintain organized systems to monitor project timelines, ownership, and interdependencies
- Partner with internal teams to gather required information for tax filings, audits, and planning efforts
- Proactively follow up with stakeholders to keep projects moving and ensure accountability
- Design and maintain detailed spreadsheets for compliance tracking, tax provisions, audit support, and project monitoring
- Leverage advanced Excel tools (such as Pivot Tables, Power Query, and lookup functions) to interpret and present data
- Assist with compiling and organizing data needed for returns, audits, and ad hoc analyses
- Oversee and update the department's compliance schedule across federal, state, and international requirements
- Organize and maintain documentation for filings, audits, and reporting activities
- Monitor changes in tax regulations and summarize potential impacts to the business
- Contribute to process improvements, including adoption of new tools and automation efforts
- Act as a coordination point between the tax team and other departments to streamline information sharing
- Prepare clear and professional written communications for leadership
- Arrange and facilitate internal and cross-departmental meetings

Pay Rate: $26 - $30 hourly DOE + potential OT
