, every rescued animal, every life-saving medical treatment, and every second chance begins with the generosity of our supporters. We're looking for a detail-oriented, service-minded professional to join our Development team as a Part-Time Database & Donor Services Assistant
. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, helping donors, and ensuring every gift is handled with accuracy and care.

You thrive when balancing data entry, donor communications, reporting, and administrative support. You are dependable, patient, adaptable, and committed to ensuring donors feel appreciated and valued.
Key Responsibilities- Process donations received through mail, online platforms, phone calls, and in-person transactions.
- Maintain accurate donor and constituent records within our fundraising database.
- Enter, update, and verify donor information while ensuring database integrity.
- Acknowledge gifts promptly and professionally.
- Research and resolve donation and reconciliation discrepancies.
- Generate donor lists, reports, and mailing exports to support fundraising initiatives.
- Assist with donor stewardship, recognition programs, and special fundraising projects.
- Conduct prospect research on individuals, corporations, and foundations.
- Serve as a friendly first point of contact for donor inquiries by phone, email, and mail.
- Assist with event invitation lists, mailings, and donor correspondence.
- Protect the confidentiality of donor information and internal communications.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of related administrative, customer service, database, or office experience.
- Strong typing, data entry, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and internet research.
- Experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle detailed information accurately and confidentially.
