This entry-level role blends records management with client outreach and inside sales functions
. You’ll be responsible for communicating directly with opposing counsel to facilitate records access, discuss pricing, and manage records orders. This is a great opportunity to launch or grow your career in the legal support industry while working with a dynamic and supportive team.
- Contact opposing counsel by phone or email to offer records for purchase
- Discuss pricing, authorizations, and delivery options
- Offer duplicate records for purchase once original orders are received
- Review signed waivers and determine what portions of orders should be fulfilled
- Submit orders on behalf of opposing counsel
- Process, sort, code, and classify incoming records and mail
- Retrieve and route requested files and documents
- Maintain accurate check-out and tracking systems
- Interface with internal departments for coordination and support
- Answer departmental phone and email inquiries
- Perform quality control checks on outgoing documents
- Support the intake and delivery of physical and electronic records
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work history (customer service, admin, inside sales, etc.)
- Litigation support or records retrieval experience is a plus
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Comfortable using email and business phone systems
