Chimney Rock Car Care Lube Technician
Chimney Rock Car Care is a family-owned, independent auto repair shop located in the Galleria area of Houston. We've been serving our community since 2013 and are known for honest recommendations, thorough inspections, and doing things the right way. We are currently looking for a motivated Lube Technician who wants more than "just a job" and is interested in growing a real career in automotive repair.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing things correctly, and wants to learn from experienced, ASE-certified technicians in a professional shop environment.
As a Lube Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing oil changes, tire rotations, flat repairs, battery testing and replacement, air filter replacements, fluid services, and assisting technicians with general shop tasks.
- You will also complete digital vehicle inspections with photos and notes, maintain a clean and organized work area, and follow shop procedures and safety standards at all times.
We're looking for someone who is dependable, coachable, and detail-oriented. Prior automotive experience is helpful but not required — we are happy to train the right person. A valid Texas driver's license, clean driving record, reliable transportation, and the ability to work on your feet and lift up to 50 pounds are required. What sets Chimney Rock Car Care apart is our commitment to training, structure, and respect.
We don't rush cars through or cut corners. You'll be supported by a shop foreman, service manager, and experienced technicians who want to see you succeed. This role can grow into a General Service Technician and beyond for the right candidate. We offer competitive hourly pay based on experience, paid training, opportunities for advancement, a stable Monday–Friday schedule, and a positive, team-oriented work environment.
No nights and no weekends.
