Team One CDJR in Gadsden, AL is looking for an experienced and motivated automotive dealership Service Manager to join our team!

- Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
- Take ownership of the customer's experience by listening to their needs and assisting in addressing their issues.
- Spend quality time building relationships with the customer.
- Serve as a liaison between technicians, service advisors, and customers.
- Oversee the inspection of automobiles to identify faulty components and facilitate a process for repairs.
- Stay updated on parts inventory to ensure availability for required repairs.
- Know the product and be able to answer characteristic and operational questions regarding the customer’s vehicle.
- Hire, train and evaluate the productivity of the service department staff to acknowledge efficient employees and guide those who are under-performing.
- Supervise the activities of the department staff to ensure efficient job performance and compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Two years of dealer-level or large facility manager experience preferred.
- Broad scope of automotive mechanical knowledge.
- Experience in supervising and managing staff.
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
- Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality.
- Highly professional and dependable.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.
- Basic computer and internet skills.
- Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
- Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
