West Point Lincoln of Sugar Land is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Automotive Service Technician to join our elite service team. In this role, you will perform high-level mechanical repairs, advanced electronic diagnostics, and scheduled luxury maintenance across the full lineup of Lincoln luxury SUVs and pre-owned inventory.

• Based on previous experience and qualifications

• Confidentiality: All applications and inquiries from currently employed technicians will be kept strictly confidential.

• Experience: 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience in a dealership or luxury service environment (Ford/Lincoln experience strongly preferred).

• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.

• Tools: Ownership of a complete set of professional automotive hand and power tools with a roll-around storage cabinet.

• Ability to commute to Houston, TX (Southwest Freeway location).

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

• Diagnostics & Repair: Perform accurate diagnostics and high-quality repairs on engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, braking, and HVAC systems.

• Luxury Standards: Utilize Ford/Lincoln diagnostic software (IDS/FDRS) to identify module issues, software updates, and complex electrical faults efficiently.

• Recall & Warranty Service: Execute technical service bulletins (TSBs), safety recalls, and warranty repairs strictly according to factory guidelines.

• Service Communication: Partner with Service Advisors to provide clear diagnostic findings, complete repair write-ups, and accurate labor/parts estimates.

• Quality Assurance: Conduct multi-point safety inspections and complete thorough test drives to ensure vehicle safety and prevent comebacks.

• Shop Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized bay while adhering to all shop protocols and safety standards.

• Proven mechanical aptitude and strong diagnostic problem-solving abilities.

• Current Ford/Lincoln or ASE certifications are highly preferred.

• High attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining luxury client satisfaction scores.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and a team-player attitude.
