Our client is seeking an entrepreneurial Business Development Manager (BDM) with a passion for team selling and consultative engagement. Ideally, candidate would be in metro Houston, TX,
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with prospective companies within an assigned territory.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in a team-selling environment to drive business development initiatives.
- Design and execute territory‑specific campaigns with an entrepreneurial approach.
- Lead client engagement through phone, web, and in‑person meetings, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Partner with colleagues to deliver tailored relocation consulting and need‑based solutions.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to develop compelling sales collateral.
- Facilitate benchmarking of programs and policies, offering strategic recommendations.
- Manage delivery of RFIs, RFPs, and general proposal responses with precision and creativity.
- Lead and deliver persuasive business development presentations.
- Collaborate on contract development and execution, ensuring alignment with client needs.
- Support pre‑implementation readiness for newly signed business, ensuring seamless transitions.
- Consistently exceed company goals and contribute to overall sales performance.
- Take ownership of additional strategic projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales, relocation, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of business‑to‑business sales experience, ideally in a consultative or team‑selling model.
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize and execute while maintaining high‑quality standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Experience with CRM or database management (Hub Spot or similar preferred).
- Strong presentation, time management, and relationship maintenance skills.
