The Project Manager at Locke Solutions plays a crucial role in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of our precast concrete projects. This position requires a hands-on approach to managing project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to drive successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and oversee project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal teams, customers, vendors, and contractors to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Manage document flow within projects, including obtaining, sharing, and filing necessary documentation.
- Prepare and submit project-related documents such as submittal packages, change order requests, and Titan work breakdown structures.
- Maintain and update the Titan Document Database, ensuring all project files are archived and organized appropriately.
- Develop and implement standardized templates for project documents and filing structures.
- Ensure all documents are up to date, properly formatted, and filed in accordance with company procedures.
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks, ensuring proactive problem-solving and issue resolution.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, tracking expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and financial accountability.
- Drive process improvements in project management and document control practices to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Initiate project documentation in the database within three days of project award.
- Ensure all final project documentation is archived upon project completion.
- Adhere to and continuously improve document control procedures.
- Facilitate timely project completion by ensuring documents are shared at critical milestones.
- Maintain a consistent format for project documents and filing procedures.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with project teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2+ years of project management experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry is a plus.
