Landman-Land Administrator (onsite, full time)
Our client, a rapidly growing oil and gas minerals company, is seeking to hire Landman-Land Administrator to join their entrepreneurial team. This is a unique opportunity to step into a role with significant autonomy, contribute ideas, and help shape the company's growth strategy. The company is highly focused on acquisitions in the Haynesville shale and is looking for a self-starter who can drive the process from start to finish.
- Ideal for someone who enjoys process, documentation, and deal execution
- Real deal volume - not a "sit and wait" land role
- This is a hands-on land role supporting ongoing mineral acquisitions and asset management
- Coordinate land-related projects across multiple mineral acquisitions
- Perform day-to-day land work supporting acquisitions and asset management
- Facilitate closing documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely execution
- Conduct research on leases, mineral ownership, and ownership interests
- Draft and file affidavits and other land-related legal documents
- Intake, review, and organize all legal and title documentation
- Notify operators of changes in mineral ownership post-closing
- Maintain professional relationships with mineral sellers and counter parties
- Upstream oil and gas focus in land
- 3+ yrs. working in similar role (land and supporting land efforts)
- Strong emphasis on organization, accuracy, and follow-through
- Will work closely with internal team on post-acquisition and ongoing land administration matters
