Within EY-Parthenon’s Strategy and Execution sub-service line, the Deal Technology practice works on the most complex and high-profile global transactions across a broad portfolio of clients and industry sectors. We are a group of experienced industry professionals with an IT background who are serial transaction advisers, bringing deep sector and functional knowledge to our clients. This role focuses on advising the Private Equity sector, preparing and executing separation and integration plans, identifying value-enhancement opportunities, and advising on risk mitigation and successful operational change.
YourKey Responsibilities
As a Director in EY-Parthenon’s Strategy and Execution Deal Technology practice, you will be a vital member of a team managing and executing IT-focused projects across sectors. You’ll work day-to-day with investment teams, operating partners, and C‑suite executives at mid‑market portfolio companies, developing and executing strategies for transactions. The role includes developing experience in different types of engagements, such as pre‑deal operational and carve‑out planning and post‑deal integration planning and value creation.

- A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, engineering, computer science, business information and operations management, or analytics and 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree with approximately 3 years of related experience.
- MBA is preferred.
- Significant management consulting experience.
- Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
- Interest in understanding Private Equity dynamics, navigating stakeholders across investment teams and portfolio company leaders.
- Experience in business integrations, divestitures, and/or carve‑outs with demonstrated quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Experience leading and managing complex business environments.
- Ability to synthesize approaches to complex integration/divestiture conflicts.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long‑lasting internal and external relationships.
