Customer Supply Chain Lead

G‑3 Chickadee—formerly part of Goodyear Chemical—is undergoing a major transformation. As a newly independent, Private Equity–backed organization, we are modernizing our infrastructure, implementing new systems (SAP, MES, cybersecurity), and building a strong operational foundation for continued growth.

We are seeking a Customer Supply Chain Lead, reporting to the Customer Supply Chain Manager, to play a critical role in delivering an outstanding customer experience by managing the full order-to-delivery process. This position serves as the primary point of contact for customers after order placement, ensuring seamless coordination across internal teams and external logistics partners to meet service expectations.

• Manage customer purchase orders in SAP from order entry through shipment and delivery.
• Serve as the main customer contact for order status, delivery schedules, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with warehouses, transportation providers, and freight forwarders to ensure product availability and shipment readiness.
• Monitor and track open domestic and export sales orders daily to prevent service disruptions.
• Prepare and maintain export documentation and ensure compliance with international shipping requirements.
• Maintain accurate customer master data and requirements within SAP.
• Partner with Commercial Sales and Supply Chain teams to resolve order conflicts and meet customer service expectations.
• Lead communication with customers regarding product or service concerns and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage returns, replacements, and product disposition decisions while balancing customer needs and company cost considerations.
• Support onboarding of new customers by gathering requirements and ensuring operational readiness.

Required

• Associates degree or 8–10 years of experience in export logistics or chemical/industrial markets.
• 3–5 years of customer-focused experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• 3–5 years of experience using SAP Sales Order modules.

Preferred

• Experience in chemical, polymer, or industrial manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing both domestic and international logistics.
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills

• Strong customer focus and verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve issues quickly.
• Detail‑oriented with a structured and methodical approach.
• Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and work independently.
• Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to manage unique case‑by‑case situations.
