Job Description & How to Apply Below

We’re hiring a Product Analyst to own the intake, triage, and day‑to‑day product operations that keep Rhythm’s internal platforms and customer‑facing experiences running smoothly. You’ll be the first line of defense for production issues and enhancement requests, turning messy inputs into clear, actionable work for our Product and Engineering teams.

This role sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Operations, Customer Care, and Finance. You’ll ensure that issues and small enhancements are correctly scoped and prioritized, that support teams have the tools and visibility they need, and that our internal workflows become steadily more efficient and reliable over time.

You’ll report into our product organization and be a key partner to the Product Manager for Platform & Operations, backend engineering leads, and operational stakeholders. While product managers focus on larger strategic initiatives, you’ll be the go‑to owner for triage workflows, small improvements, and product operations across our servicing and internal tools stack.

You might be a great fit if
  • You enjoy untangling messy requests, clarifying requirements, and turning vague problem statements into clear, actionable tickets.
  • You like pairing with engineers on solution options as much as you like working with operations and support teams to understand real‑world pain points.
  • You get genuine satisfaction from tightening processes, eliminating recurring issues, and making internal tools and workflows reliably better over time.
What You’ll Do
  • Own the intake and triage process for product and production support requests from internal stakeholders, ensuring each request is clearly scoped, impact‑assessed, and routed to the right engineering owner.
  • Partner with engineering leads to define resolution approaches and timelines, track progress, and communicate status updates and trade‑offs to stakeholders.
  • Investigate production issues by querying relevant databases and internal systems, quantifying customer impact and severity to inform prioritization.
  • Build and maintain reporting and dashboards to monitor production support SLAs, identify recurring issues, and track the overall health and volume of incoming requests.
  • Identify recurring or systemic issues and collaborate with Engineering to design durable fixes that eliminate one‑off “band‑aid” work.
  • Collaborate with department leads and internal stakeholders to understand pain points, align on priorities, and propose process and product improvements that unlock business value.
  • Identify, scope, and prioritize high‑impact small enhancements that align with team and company OKRs, balancing quick wins with foundational improvements.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into well‑formed user stories and requirements with clear acceptance criteria, edge cases, and dependencies.
  • Present enhancement proposals to Engineering for refinement and collaborate on implementation plans, milestones, and success criteria.
  • Own and groom the product backlog for small enhancements within your domain, ensuring it’s prioritized, up to date, and execution‑ready.
  • Develop a deep understanding of internal applications, back‑office workflows, and business processes; document current‑state flows and proactively spot optimization opportunities.
  • Support QA for bug fixes and small enhancements by validating behavior against requirements, coordinating stakeholder UAT, and tracking post‑release issues.
What You’ll Bring
  • 1–2 years of experience in the Retail Energy industry or a related energy sector, or strong interest in learning the space quickly.
  • Experience in an analytical, product, or operations‑focused role (e.g., product analyst, business analyst, operations analyst, or similar).
  • Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills; comfortable digging into data, systems, and edge cases to find root causes and quantify business impact.
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence outcomes without formal authority, earning trust with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Support partners.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills; you can translate complex issues into clear narratives, artifacts, and action…
