Position: Business Development Manager – Payments Advisory

Role Overview
  • Redbridge is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive the growth of its Payments Advisory and Payments Analytics Software business in North America, with a focus on companies/merchants that typically have $500m–$1bn+ annual revenues
  • This is a senior, revenue-generating role responsible for originating, developing, and closing new client relationships. The role focuses on US merchants across all verticals, channels, and markets, operating in both B2B and B2C environments
  • You will lead complex, consultative sales cycles with C-suite and senior stakeholders, positioning Redbridge as a trusted, independent advisor across payments strategy, card economics, risk and fraud strategy, and payments analytics
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales Execution
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract signature for new clients in the US
  • Develop and execute a US-focused go-to-market and account acquisition strategy for Payments Advisory and Analytics
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Lead consultative discovery conversations to identify client pain points, quantify value, and shape tailored solutions
  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes involving finance, payments, risk, procurement, and executive leadership
Client Engagement & Deal Leadership
  • Act as the primary commercial lead on opportunities, coordinating internal subject-matter experts across payments, cards, risk, and analytics
  • Present Redbridge’s value proposition credibly to CFOs, Treasurers, Heads of Payments, and Risk leaders
  • Develop compelling commercial proposals and business cases
  • Lead commercial negotiations and close multi-year advisory and software engagements
Market & Relationship Development
  • Build long-term, trusted relationships with senior decision-makers at corporates and across verticals
  • Identify opportunities for cross-sell and expansion within existing and new client relationships
  • Represent Redbridge at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
  • Provide market feedback to Product, Marketing, and Leadership teams to inform solution development and positioning
Client profile
  • US-based companies/merchants that typically have $500m–$1bn+ annual revenues

  • Selling B2B, B2C, or hybrid models Solutions sold
  • Global payments and cards strategy consulting
  • Card acceptance, pricing, and scheme economics advisory

Experience & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate B2B sales, consulting sales, or advisory services
  • Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals with US businesses
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully selling merchant card & payments solutions to businesses across verticals and sales channels
  • Strong understanding of payments, cards, fintech, or adjacent financial services ecosystems
  • Strong ability to articulate to merchants the benefits of retaining a payments strategy consulting & analytics software firm to drive key performance indicators: increased business value through intelligent, payments-centric commerce strategies; improve the shopper experience and customer acquisition; generate incremental revenue and improved margin; increased transparency and fairness of commercial conditions; optimize provider processing costs, including interchange; implement an optimal payments architecture, manage fraud & chargebacks;

    ensure compliance with regulations and network rules; and confidence speaking to ecosystem dynamics and innovation trends
  • Experience selling consultative solutions, professional services, and/or SaaS into CFO, Treasury, or Payments organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex buying committees and long sales cycles
  • Comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial, growth
