We are seeking experienced Business Analysts with a strong background in the natural gas transportation industry to support our client's projects.
Business Analyst – Natural Gas Transportation
Contract - Long term - Extendable
Houston TX - Downtown, 5 days a week onsite
Industry: Oil and Gas
W2 Only, No C2C/1099
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Work closely with IT and business teams to ensure seamless execution of projects related to natural gas transportation.
- Support contract, capacity release, shipper/operator activities, nominations, confirmations, measurement, scheduling, allocation, and invoicing processes.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain business process documentation, workflows, and functional specifications.
- Participate in testing, validation, and user training to ensure successful project delivery.
- 5-10 years experience as a Business Analyst in the natural gas transportation industry.
- Strong understanding of natural gas contract management, nominations, scheduling, and invoicing processes.
- Experience working with shippers, operators, and capacity release projects.
- Ability to analyze and translate business needs into actionable requirements.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with business and technical teams.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools, documentation, and reporting.
- Experience with pipeline operations, transportation management systems, or gas measurement tools.
- Familiarity with FERC and industry regulations related to natural gas transportation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
