Job Summary:
Receive, sort and process incoming postal mail for distribution to various sections and agencies within the courthouse district. Receive and process outgoing mail according to United States Postal regulations. Pick up and deliver files as requested. Accomplishes section objectives in accordance with standard operating procedures and policies of the District Clerk's Office.

Requirements
Education:
* High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
* Must be able to maneuver, including lifting and moving a minimum of thirty (30) pounds.
* Must be able to work under strict time constraints.
* Must have the ability to organize and prioritize work.
* Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Must be able to handle customers in a polite and courteous manner.
* Must be able to process mail according to United States Postal regulations, amongst other parcel services.
* Must be able to operate mailing equipment.
* Must be capable of working under stress and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Must be willing to travel to any destination required to participate or assist with office projects.
* Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Must be able to work without direct supervision, have excellent analytical, decision-making, prioritization, and organizational skills.
* Must act as a role model for the section; presenting oneself as a professional employee for the other employees to emulate.
* Must be able to work overtime upon request.
* Must be a U.S. citizen or must be eligible for employment in the United States.

General Information

Work Hours:
* Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m.
- 4:30 p.m
* Salary is based on 26 pay periods, Commensurate with experience and skills;
