The Fleet & Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing Stallion’s vehicle fleet operations and supporting the procurement of goods, equipment, materials, and services. This role oversees fleet lifecycle management, compliance, and analytics while driving procurement initiatives including supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization. The position partners cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Asset Management, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment with company goals.
RolePriorities / Responsibilities Fleet Management
- Coordinate acquisition, registration, licensing, and disposal of company vehicles and equipment
- Monitor telematics, fuel usage, mileage, and total cost of ownership (TCO)
- Manage fuel card programs and audit transactions for compliance
- Oversee vehicle titles, registrations, IRP, tolls, and HVUT (2290) filings
- Track fleet budget performance and identify cost‑saving opportunities
- Support fleet lifecycle planning, including replacement and retirement strategies
- Maintain fleet systems and ensure accuracy of operational data
- Source and procure goods, equipment, and services in alignment with company needs
- Lead RFQs/RFPs and evaluate vendor proposals
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Analyze spend data and identify cost reduction opportunities
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Develop reports and dashboards for fleet and procurement performance
- Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
- Collaborate with Operations to align fleet and purchasing needs
- Present insights and recommendations to leadership
- Support process improvement initiatives across fleet and procurement
- Assist with audits and compliance reviews
- Stay current on industry trends, technology, and best practices

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in fleet management, procurement, or a combined role.
- Experience with fleet systems (Samsara, Holman) and procurement platforms (Oracle)
- Experience with fuel programs (WEX or similar)
- Knowledge of Power BI or analytics tools
- Experience in energy or heavy equipment industries
