Job Summary:
This role is responsible for driving the company's strategic direction, ensuring it remains competitive and adaptable in a rapidly changing business landscape. The manager will define the game plan that impacts our product/portfolio roadmap, go‑to‑market motions, and competitive responses. They will conduct in‑depth analyses, synthesize results, test hypotheses, and provide recommendations, collaborating with cross‑functional leaders to align strategy with organizational goals.
- Analyze market research on latest industry trends, competitive landscape, and product innovations.
- Develop recommendations for a 1‑5 year strategy on where to play and how to win.
- Create short‑term plans and levers to optimize business and financial performance, facilitating regular follow‑ups on strategic planning to foster collaboration and accountability.
- Structure analytical approaches and develop project guidelines, objectives, strategies, deliverables, and tactics to drive successful outcomes.
- Manage large, cross‑functional teams and communications to facilitate projects and ensure timely delivery to internal stakeholders.
- Consult with business executives on a wide range of issues related to strategy formulation, including risk management and new growth opportunities.
- Provide thought leadership and contribute to expanding the knowledge base within the area of expertise, developing new methods, techniques, and criteria for strategy analysis and recommendations.
- Collaborate across businesses, functions, and regions to align strategy and direction with corporate and divisional/business units.
- Four‑year or graduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any related discipline, or equivalent work experience or demonstrated competence.
- 8‑10+ years of work experience, preferably 3‑4+ in management consulting, corporate strategy, strategic planning, or a related field.
- Top‑tier consulting experience highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical thinking, analysis, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and take action independently while managing project objectives.
- Ability to summarize abstract ideas clearly and manage project objectives independently.
- Developed business acumen and technical knowledge within at least two business units.
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence.
- Excellent project management skills, including project structuring.
- Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
- Ability to learn and draw on new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to project objectives.
- Oversee significant research and analysis efforts; identify leading‑edge analytical tools and techniques to evaluate strategic objectives and gain new insights into business issues.
- Able to conduct an impact analysis capturing all likely consequences of a decision.
The pay range for this role is $175,000–$215,000 USD annually, with additional opportunities for bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
