Business Development Manager

Addison Group is a rapidly growing private staffing firm specializing in contract and direct hire staffing as well as consulting services.

Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for prospecting new clients for the division, researching and identifying prospective users of temporary or permanent staffing services, and developing a marketing plan to enter new markets and expand existing accounts. The role includes client visits, prospecting, door‑knocking, and attending networking events. The BDM partners with recruiters to match each client’s staffing needs.

• Identify and sell to potential business deals by contacting prospective clients
• Schedule and attend client meetings to generate new business and grow current business
• Develop and maintain client relationships through cold calling and prospecting calls
• Negotiate fees and close deals in line with company goals and expectations
• Represent Addison in a professional and positive manner in all interactions, including networking events and other activities outside of normal business hours

• Four‑year degree or equivalent
• Professional oral and written communication skills
