Job Summary

This position is responsible for tracking all Import Purchases, Freight, Customs and related A/P items. Support to the Demand Planning team in all activities related to the on-time and profitable replenishment of goods during the buying season.

To be successful, the candidate must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accounting knowledge, be proficient in MS Excel, and must thrive in a team-first, high volume, fast paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Track shipment status based on Carrier daily reports and carrier web sites.
  • Daily processing of commercial and freight invoices accurately and timely.
  • Close out payments and send payment notification to all vendor partners.
  • Verify, track and execute issued credits for commercial invoice payments.
  • Work collaboratively, within your team and across departments, to reach quick and efficient solutions in order to prevent payment or shipment delays.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned by the Import Manager.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
:
High School diploma or equivalent; and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills
:
Ability to perform and understand the functions of personal computers and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Must be capable of using a 10 key by touch. After a short training period this position must show proficiency with the FROG system.

Certifications
:
No specific certifications are required for this job duty.

Language Skills
:
Ability to read and comprehend advanced instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write advanced and/or professional correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, vendor representative, account executives and other employees of the organization.
