Position
Description:
The Lead Contract Monitoring Specialist serves as the technical lead for contract monitoring activities and provides guidance, coordination, and support to Contract Monitoring Specialists. This position performs advanced monitoring, compliance, and risk assessment activities while assisting management with quality assurance, training, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives. The Lead serves as a subject matter expert in contract compliance, regulatory requirements, and monitoring activities to ensure consistent application of standards across the provider network.
Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in social services or human services. Relevant experience in contract administration and social services may be considered in lieu of formal degree.
- Experience with contract monitoring, compliance, quality assurance, or program monitoring.
- Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
- Experience with in child welfare, foster care, Single Source Continuum Contractor (SSCC), or social services programs.
- Previous mentoring, training, or supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of child welfare services and Single Source Continuum Contractor (SSCC) requirements.
- Knowledge of contract compliance and performance monitoring.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret regulations and contract requirements.
- Ability to prepare detailed reports and present findings.
- Ability to handle fast paced and high-pressure work environments.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting team members.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in professional settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management systems.
