Vice President, Corporate Trust Transaction Manager

Job Description

Required Experience

  • 5–10 years in financial services
  • Corporate Trust experience strongly preferred
  • Contract negotiation experience (ideally with legal exposure)

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Business, or related)
  • Advanced degree preferred

  • Ability to manage large deal volumes (100+ transactions)
  • High stress tolerance / ability to operate in fast-paced environments

  • Ability to manage projects / process initiatives

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Negotiation & Risk Management
    • Partner with legal and internal stakeholders to negotiate:
      Bond Indentures, Paying Agent Agreements, Escrow Agreements
    • Identify and mitigate:
      Contractual risks, Operational risks, Regulatory risks
  • Deal Execution & Onboarding
    • Coordinate onboarding across internal systems
    • Ensure accuracy and timeliness aligned to contract terms
  • Client Experience
    • Deliver high-quality, responsive service
    • Anticipate client needs and use technology to enhance delivery
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work across teams to improve processes and efficiency
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Risk & Compliance
    • Promote risk awareness culture
    • Escalate issues proactively with recommendations
    • Stay current on market trends and regulatory developments.
