About Water Bridge
Water Bridge is a leading water infrastructure and midstream services company focused on the development, ownership, and operation of large‑scale water management systems. The Commercial Operations team manages relationships, contracts, and economics that underpin the company’s work.
Role SummaryThe Commercial Analyst supports Water Bridge’s Commercial Operations team across pricing, contract analysis, financial modeling, and business development. This high‑visibility role works directly with commercial leadership and interfaces routinely with finance, engineering, and operations.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate commercial opportunities, including new customer contracts, volume commitments, and rate structures.
- Support contract negotiations by preparing economic analyses, scenario runs, and pricing proposals.
- Track and analyze customer volumes, revenue, and contract performance against commitments.
- Assist in the development and execution of business development initiatives, including preparation of term sheets, proposals, and presentations for prospective customers.
- Support customer relationship management in coordination with senior commercial staff.
- Monitor basin‑level market activity and competitive positioning to inform commercial strategy.
- Work cross‑functionally with finance, operations, and legal to ensure contract terms are accurately captured and executed.
- Prepare regular reporting packages for internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
- 2–4 years of experience in a commercial, finance, or analytical role; experience in midstream, energy infrastructure, or water services preferred.
- Strong financial modeling skills in Excel, including ability to build models from scratch and audit existing ones.
- Ability to evaluate deals using discounted cash flow analysis and return metrics such as IRR, NPV, FCF yield, and MOIC.
- Working knowledge of midstream contract structures, including volume commitments, dedications, and fee‑based arrangements.
- Detail oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple work streams simultaneously without sacrificing accuracy.
- Experience using Enverus to export and analyze permit activity, rig counts, DUCs, remaining inventory, production profiles, and offset operator activity.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to internal and external audiences, with proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field.
