Job Description
We are looking for a Principal for Wood Mackenzie's LNG Assets Research team within our Global Gas & LNG research practice. The role is located in Houston and focuses on North American LNG. The principal will lead North American LNG export research and provide high‑quality asset and market analysis on the sector. Responsibilities include defining the Wood Mackenzie view on LNG supply projects and project economics, key LNG export companies, LNG feed‑gas options, LNG contracting structures, liquefaction costs and EPC terms, LNG emissions and mitigation strategies.
The role holder will collaborate with the wider North America and global gas teams to publish thought‑leading insights, topical reports, and update datasets. A key part of the role is speaking with existing and prospective Wood Mackenzie clients and building our gas and LNG business in the Americas, alongside sales and consulting teams. The principal is expected to lead discussions on North American and global LNG market developments with senior‑level clients, build and maintain contacts with key players, develop research and commercial relationships, and coach less‑experienced team members across gas research and consulting teams.
