We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) to join our dynamic team in Texas. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of business analysis principles and methodologies, coupled with hands‑on experience in M&A processes. This role requires a strategic thinker who can analyze complex business scenarios, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough business analysis to identify and document requirements for M&A projects.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather insights and ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and use cases.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to elicit requirements and validate solutions.
- Analyze data and market trends to support decision‑making in M&A initiatives.
- Assist in the due diligence process by evaluating financial, operational, and strategic aspects of potential acquisitions.
- Support the integration planning and execution of acquired businesses.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, specifically in M&A projects.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
Skills:
- Experience with financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape in M&A.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 3‑5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, with a focus on M&A.
- Strong understanding of business processes and financial principles.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
