The Contracts & Procurement Manager is responsible for leading the full contracting and procurement strategy, execution, and oversight for the LNG Project in the United States. The role directs all commercial activities across EPC, construction, major equipment, services, and logistics contracts, ensuring that project objectives are achieved in terms of cost, schedule, risk, compliance, and supplier performance.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned commercial leader with deep LNG or mega-project contracting experience, strong negotiation capabilities, and a proven record of managing complex EPC and supply-chain portfolios on behalf of Owner/PMC organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contracts administration and management for the project including (but not limited to) –(US and international) consultant contracts, FEED contracts, PMC contracts, EPC contracts, module fabrication contracts.
  • Manage supplier engagement and qualification.
  • Manage sole source engagement or competitive tendering, bid evaluation, contract formation, negotiation, award, and administration to ensure alignment with project goals and Owner requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and manage the project’s contracting & procurement strategy, covering EPC, long-lead equipment, materials, and service agreements.
  • Establish governance frameworks, commercial controls, and risk management processes across all supply chain activities.
  • Lead supplier engagement, performance management, claims avoidance/mitigation, and contract change management.
  • Coordinate closely with engineering, project controls, legal, finance, construction, and operations teams to ensure integrated commercial decision-making.
  • Provide high-level commercial reporting, market intelligence, and strategic recommendations to senior project leadership.
  • Manage and close out contract issues/claims/change orders expeditiously, proactively engaging other functions support to ensure closure.
  • Commercial analysis, forecasting and reporting for all contracts.
  • Liaise with project and company functions for support and decision making.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Law, or related field.
  • 15+ years’ experience in contracts, procurement, supply chain, or commercial management for LNG, oil & gas, petrochemical, or other major capital projects.
  • Strong expertise in EPC contracting, commercial negotiation, claims/variation management, and international procurement.
  • Previously held PMC or Owner’s role with significant responsibility for multi‑billion-dollar project portfolios.
  • Good understanding of U.S. contracting environment, suppliers/supply chain regulations, and commercial risk frameworks.
  • Proven leadership, teambuilding, stakeholder engagement, and decision‑making capabilities.
