We are pleased to present the opportunity to join Carneros Healthcare Management LLC as an Independent Contractor specializing in business development for in-office dispensing within the specialty pharmaceutical market.

  • Support payer credentialing, market access, and compliant dispensing workflows
Position Summary

In this role, you will leverage your experience working with or selling to Physician Specialty Group clinics to identify and target practices that are strong candidates for in-office dispensing, develop strategic relationships with practice leadership, and initiate our sales process for IOD adoption. You will work independently while collaborating closely with our leadership and support team to achieve mutually agreed-upon business objectives.

  • Practices currently sending prescriptions to outside retail or specialty pharmacies where dispensing margin is being lost
  • Practices with existing buy-and-bill or infusion operations that could be complemented by an oral/self-administered IOD program
  • Multi-physician groups with sufficient prescription volume to support dispensing economics and PBM/payer credentialing requirements
  • Practices located in states with favorable in-office and interstate dispensing regulations
  • Practices open to operational support for payer credentialing, formulary navigation, and compliant dispensing workflows
Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and prioritizing specialty physician group clinics that match the IOD target practice profile
  • Developing and managing relationships with specialty physician group clinics and related healthcare organizations
  • Presenting Carneros's in-office dispensing solutions to practice decision-makers (physicians, practice administrators, office managers)
  • Supporting contract discussions and assisting with onboarding new IOD accounts
  • Providing market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback on the specialty dispensing landscape
  • Participating in scheduled meetings and providing regular pipeline and activity updates
Qualifications

The ideal candidate has:

  • Demonstrated experience selling to, partnering with, or working within physician specialty clinics
  • Strong, existing relationships within the physician specialty practice industry
