DescriptionThe Manager, IT Planning, Projects & Performance leads the department's operational performance metrics and performance reporting, project portfolio governance, and strategic planning functions. This position develops and maintains standardized methodologies, reporting frameworks, and governance processes to support performance metrics, project management, and organizational/departmental planning.
ResponsibilitiesDepartment is willing to accept experience in lieu of education.
MQ: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
Requires a minimum of five (5) years of directly job-related experience. Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in project management, business management or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Preferred qualifications include experience in strategic planning, project portfolio management, performance measurement, dashboard development, governance processes, and executive reporting. Experience working in higher education, information technology organizations, or large complex environments is highly desirable. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.
