For more details:

• Assess accuracy of claims and perform corrections (if needed) to ensure timely payments.
• Document and file accurately; follow up to maximize reimbursement.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, Medicare, Medicaid and payer‑specific billing guidelines.
• Prepare month‑end financial reports, account reconciliations, process refunds, adjustments and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Establish and maintain a system of financial recordkeeping; ledgers, payments, receipts, cash journals, bank deposits.
• Monitor, plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the facility’s accounting functions under the supervision of the Administrator.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income and expense reports.
• Prepare financial and statistical reports as required.

• Experience in billing role of a nursing home required.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from accredited college with specialization in business or accounting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior leadership/supervisor experience strongly preferred.
