Transformation Change Manager – Program Manager
This program manager leads change management communication and adoption across all transformational initiatives within the organization.
The role collaborates cross‑functionally and applies project and change management methodologies to define impacts, develop rollout plans, deliver communications, measure execution, and establish feedback loops.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute a change management plan for transformation programs and initiatives.
- Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities across projects.
- Assess change impact and support design of change components, processes, personas, and roles and responsibilities.
- Identify process and program changes and integrate change management activities into overall project plans, working closely with project managers.
- Consult and coach project teams and work streams on aligning to common goals.
- Create before‑and‑after comparisons to help stakeholders and employees understand the change journey.
- Define key stakeholders and establish outreach plans to keep them informed and engaged, ensuring no surprises.
- Identify and manage anticipated resistance, risks, and sensitivities, mitigating them with scenario planning and risk tactics.
- Support communication and training efforts: design, develop, deliver, and manage key communications, toolkits, and materials, reviewing with focus groups for validation.
- Build advocates and superusers to spread the adoption of change.
- Define and measure success metrics, monitor change progress, evaluate user readiness, and conduct internal and external surveys to gauge pulse.
- Proven track record managing large and/or international projects and large‑scale organizational change.
- Solid understanding of how people experience change and how to manage change processes and organizational challenges.
- Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Strong business and customer‑oriented acumen.
- Experience with large‑scale organizational change efforts.
- Ability to produce and manage external and internal presentation and training materials with strong visualizations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, influencing, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem‑solving, teamwork, and relationship‑building skills.
- Active listening and facilitation skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to ambiguous situations.
Recommended:
Four‑year or graduate degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Communications, Project Management, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience. Typically 7–10 years of experience in change management, transformation management, program management, organizational effectiveness, business transformation, or related field. Experience leading large‑scale organizational change initiatives and cross‑functional transformation programs in global or matrixed environments is highly preferred.
Pay range: $93,400 to $120,015 USD annually, plus bonus and/or equity (United States only). Pay varies by location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
