DescriptionManages the day‑to‑day operations of a large program or department within the Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine (COM), including the supervision of staff employees, student workers, programs or processes.

Minimum QualificationsEducation: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge is normally obtained through a formal, directly job‑related 4‑year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in‑depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
Experience: Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job‑related experience.
Certification/Licensing: None.
The program manager will work directly with the executive director of Community Engagement to support the College of Medicine's community engagement efforts. The position has a key role in Health Commons, the college's model for community engagement that prioritizes shared leadership. The position is responsible for collaborating with residents, health, and social service organizations to address the community's health goals. Experience with project management, group facilitation, and shared governance is preferred.
