Position: Special Projects Coordinator (Part-Time, As-Needed)

Position Summary

The Special Projects Coordinator supports Lodging Solutions' strategic initiatives involving disaster response base camps, remote workforce housing operations, and other special projects as assigned. This position ensures operational readiness, develops standardized procedures, performs quality assurance and quality control, and provides project management support in remote operating environments.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support special projects related to disaster response base camps and remote workforce housing.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for disaster base camp operations and remote workforce housing.
  • Develop SOPs for housekeeping, laundry, inventory control, equipment readiness, and operational processes.
  • Coordinate QA/QC inspections of trailers, equipment, and camp assets to ensure deployment readiness.
  • Verify assets meet company standards for safety, cleanliness, maintenance, and operational readiness before mobilization.
  • Assist with planning, organizing, and improving base camp readiness for storm restoration and disaster response events.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of remote workforce housing programs serving data center construction projects.
  • Serve as an on‑site Project Manager when needed during staffing shortages, vacations, or peak operational periods.
  • Assist with documentation, reporting, project tracking, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in additional company special projects outside the primary scope as assigned.
  • Work collaboratively with operations, logistics, maintenance, housekeeping, warehouse, procurement, and project management teams.
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in remote operations, logistics, disaster response, workforce housing, hospitality, or project management preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
Work Environment
  • Part‑time, as‑needed position based on project demands.
  • Frequent travel to remote locations throughout the United States may be required.
  • Projects include disaster response base camps, storm restoration operations, and remote workforce housing supporting data center construction.
  • Must be comfortable working in changing environments, extended hours, and field conditions when required.
