Position: Associate Project Manager Development Program (Military Officer Pathway)

Lead the Energy Transition. Accelerate Your Career.

Are you a military officer ready to translate your leadership experience into a high-impact civilian career?

Bright Night is seeking driven, mission-focused veterans to join our Associate Project Manager Development Program, an accelerated pathway into renewable energy project management. This unique opportunity provides hands‑on experience delivering utility-scale solar and battery energy storage (BESS) projects while developing the technical, commercial, and leadership skills needed to become a future project leader in one of the fastest-growing sectors in the world.

Why

Bright Night?

Bright Night is a high-growth renewable power developer and Independent Power Producer (IPP) with a 30‑gigawatt portfolio spanning 20 U.S. states. The company develops innovative, dispatchable, and hybrid energy solutions that deliver reliable, cost‑efficient renewable power to utilities, data centers, and other high‑demand customers across fast‑growing energy markets. Supported by strong financial partners, including Goldman Sachs, experienced industry leadership, and proprietary capabilities such as Power Alpha®, Bright Night is scaling rapidly while differentiating itself through an AI‑enabled, automation‑driven approach to project development and operations.

For candidates, Bright Night offers the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility, work directly with experienced industry leaders, and grow alongside a company with real momentum and ambitious plans for the future. We’re building a company where intelligence is built in, not bolted on. It is an opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment where smart, curious people can make an outsized impact, grow quickly, and help shape the future of reliable clean energy.

Why

This Program?

Unlike traditional rotational programs where responsibilities can be narrowly defined, Bright Night provides the opportunity to be deeply involved in real projects from day one.

You’ll work directly alongside experienced project managers, engineers, commercial leaders, and construction professionals while building a diverse set of skills across multiple disciplines. This is an environment designed for individuals who want to accelerate their development, expand their capabilities, and take ownership of meaningful work early in their careers.

At Bright Night, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Build expertise across project management, engineering, construction, logistics, commercial contracting, and operations.
  • Develop technical and business acumen through hands‑on project execution.
  • Learn directly from industry veterans and exceptional talent with decades of renewable energy and infrastructure experience.
  • Gain exposure to executive leadership and strategic decision‑making.
  • Expand your skill set through mentorship, structured development, and real‑world project ownership.
  • Thrive in a high‑performance, entrepreneurial culture where initiative and results are recognized and rewarded.
What You’ll Do

As an Associate Project Manager, you’ll support the successful delivery of utility‑scale renewable energy infrastructure projects across the United States by:

  • Supporting project execution activities across engineering, procurement, construction, and operations.
  • Coordinating project schedules, logistics, documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
  • Assisting with project budgets, risk tracking, milestone management, and performance reporting.
  • Supporting commercial contracting activities and helping facilitate relationships between internal teams, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Participating in project development decisions, construction meetings, site visits, and operational reviews.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex project challenges.
  • Contributing to a culture of safety, operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking military officers who are eager to learn, thrive in fast‑paced environments, and are excited to apply their leadership experience to large‑scale infrastructure development.

Preferred backgrounds include:

  • Active Duty,…
