Overview

2020 Companies is hiring seasonal Event Field Leads to manage the Porch touring activation. The Field Lead ensures safe and compliant execution, leads event setup/teardown, manages Brand Ambassadors, coordinates with venues, and delivers a memorable consumer experience.

Program Details

Program Dates: Mid August – Late October

Pay: $1,000 per week, paid weekly

Travel Perks: Company‑paid hotel accommodations, mileage reimbursement, daily meal allowance for applicable event assignments.

Home Base: Dallas, Houston, San Antonio or Austin, TX

Event Locations: Several Texas Locations

Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday or Wednesday–Sunday, weekend availability required.

Job Responsibilities
  • Event Operations & Activation Execution
    :
    Lead all on‑site activation activities, supervise local labor teams, ensure assets assembled safely and per brand standards, maintain readiness, and prevent operational disruptions.
  • Field Team Leadership
    :
    Motivate, coach Brand Ambassadors and event hosts; conduct briefings, communicate objectives, monitor performance, provide coaching, foster energetic atmosphere.
  • Venue & Retail Partner Management
    :
    Serve as liaison between program, venue personnel, and retail partners; build relationships, resolve operational concerns proactively.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
    :
    Enforce age verification, identification, and regulatory requirements; oversee coupon distribution, prepaid card controls, reconciliation, and documentation.
  • Program Administration & Reporting
    :
    Complete all required reporting, capture event photography and documentation, manage inventory and assets, coordinate logistics, communicate updates, and maintain ownership of local execution.
Performance Expectations
  • 100% execution of scheduled activation days
  • Zero compliance or age‑verification failures
  • Accurate and timely reconciliation of coupons, prepaid cards, and settlements
  • Consistent delivery of high‑quality consumer experience
  • Strong field staff engagement, attendance, and performance
  • Positive feedback from venue and retail partners
  • Complete and timely submission of all reporting, photos, and documentation
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience leading touring, experiential, mobile marketing, or multi‑market activation programs.
  • Experience managing Brand Ambassadors, event staff, and local labor crews in live event environments.
  • Strong leadership, organizational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience serving as primary point of contact for clients, venues, or external partners.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced environments.
  • Experience handling compliance procedures, promotional controls, inventory accountability, and event reporting.
  • Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including weekends and extended schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with in regulated industries such as tobacco, alcohol, cannabis, or similar categories.
  • Mobile marketing, trailer activation, or touring event experience.
  • Familiarity with age‑verification technology and compliance systems.
  • Experience using field reporting, CRM, or event management platforms.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and event‑based schedules.
