Tuesday-Thursday (3 Days Per Week)

Contract Duration: 12 months - potential to extend or convert

Rate: $40-46/hr. (on W2)

Position Overview

The Contract Specialist III is responsible for negotiating and managing contracts supporting a variety of business and technology-related projects. This individual will partner with engineers, technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and legal partners to ensure contracts align with business objectives while appropriately managing commercial risk. The ideal candidate will have experience with contract redlining, negotiations, and independently driving agreements through execution.

Key Responsibilities

* Review, redline, negotiate, and manage contractual terms and conditions for a variety of technology-related agreements.

* Negotiate agreements including Professional Services Agreements, Statements of Work (SOWs), software licensing agreements, SaaS agreements, data licensing agreements, hardware purchases, telecommunications agreements, and vendor order forms.

* Analyze contractual provisions involving liability, indemnification, confidentiality, and other commercial risk areas.

* Partner with internal stakeholders including technical teams, Legal, Risk Management, Tax, Procurement, and business leaders throughout the contract lifecycle.

* Collaborate with outside counsel as needed to support contract negotiations and risk mitigation efforts.

* Identify contractual risks and provide recommendations that balance business objectives with risk management considerations.

* Manage multiple contract negotiations simultaneously and drive timely execution of agreements.

* Ensure compliance with internal contracting standards, policies, and procedures.

* Maintain contract documentation and support ongoing vendor and stakeholder relationships.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree required.

* 3-5+ years of experience in contract administration, contract negotiation, procurement, sourcing, legal contracts, or a related field.

* Demonstrated experience redlining and negotiating contract terms and conditions.

* Experience negotiating commercial agreements directly with vendors, suppliers, or contractors.

* Understanding of contract risk concepts such as limitation of liability, indemnification, confidentiality, and related commercial terms.

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage competing priorities.

* Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience negotiating technology-related agreements.

* Experience with SaaS agreements, software licensing, professional services contracts, telecommunications agreements, or data licensing agreements.

* Experience supporting large enterprise organizations.

* Background in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, legal operations, or contract management.

* Experience collaborating with legal teams and external counsel.
