The Product Strategist is a part-time, hybrid role based in Houston, TX, with flexibility to work both on-site and from home. In this role, the Product Strategist will analyze retirement and life insurance offerings, identify market opportunities, and support the development of products that meet client and advisor needs. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market and competitive research, evaluating product performance, and collaborating with advisors and internal stakeholders to refine product strategy.
The Product Strategist will help translate insights into actionable product plans, contribute to product documentation, and support the optimization of the firm’s service portfolio. This role requires effective communication, structured problem solving, and a focus on client-centric outcomes.
- Strong Product Strategy and Product Management skills to design and refine advisory products and services.
- Excellent Analytical Skills and Research abilities to evaluate markets, client needs, and product performance.
- Experience with Product Development, including turning insights into features, improvements, or new offerings.
- Background or familiarity with financial services, retirement planning, or life insurance is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Houston, TX, with strong time management and self-direction.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
