At PwC, our operations consulting team focuses on optimising operational efficiency and effectiveness. In this role, you will specialise in sourcing and procurement, working closely with clients to analyse strategies, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and develop frameworks that enhance procurement efficiency. You will also guide the implementation of strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and digital procurement solutions.
Responsibilities- Supervise, develop, and coach teams to achieve client goals.
- Manage client service accounts and engagement work streams.
- Create and implement impactful operational strategies.
- Solve complex problems to develop exceptional deliverables.
- Utilise autonomous decision‑making and professional skepticism.
- Build and sustain meaningful client relationships.
- Inspire teams and navigate ambiguity.
- Advise clients on commodity trading and risk management.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 7 years of experience in a related field.
- Master of Business Administration in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Economics & Finance, Technology, Banking and Finance, Finance & Analysis, or Finance & Technology preferred.
- In‑depth knowledge of energy/commodities trading and risk management.
- Experience with Physical Commodities and Risk strategy.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements and organisational design.
- Proficiency in Energy/Commodities Trading and Risk Management systems.
- Experience managing large projects focused on commodity management.
- Proficiency in functional and technical CTRM/ETRM projects.
- Experience in business analysis and functional design.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Leadership skills – coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Strategic thinking and strong analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and client‑relationship skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver solutions on time.
Salary range: $99,000 – $232,000, dependent on skills, experience, and location. All hired individuals are eligible for annual discretionary bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), holiday pay, vacation, personal and family sick leave, and more.
