The Senior Business Analyst / Project Lead is responsible for analyzing business opportunities, supporting strategic initiatives, and driving execution of small to medium-sized cross-functional projects within the Consumer Home Energy Organization. This role combines strong business analysis capabilities with hands-on project leadership to help deliver initiatives that improve customer retention, customer experience, operational effectiveness, and business performance. The ideal candidate is a structured problem solver who can translate complex business challenges into actionable plans, perform root cause and trend analysis, facilitate stakeholder alignment, and drive work streams from discovery through implementation.

This individual contributor role requires strong analytical thinking, project coordination skills, and the ability to influence outcomes across multiple teams without direct authority.

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand business problems, objectives, and success measures.
• Gather, document, analyze, and validate business requirements and process needs.
• Conduct root cause analysis, trend analysis, and operational performance assessments to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop current-state and future-state process maps and recommend process improvements.
• Support the development of business recommendations through data-driven analysis and insights.
• Translate business needs into actionable requirements, user stories, process documentation, and implementation plans.
• Assist with testing strategy, user acceptance testing coordination, defect management, and implementation readiness activities.

• Lead small to medium-sized projects or work streams from initiation through implementation.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, action items, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables are completed on time and aligned with business objectives.
• Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, decision forums, and stakeholder reviews.
• Provide regular project status updates, progress reporting, and executive-ready communications.
• Escalate risks and issues appropriately while recommending practical solutions and mitigation plans.
• Support change management and adoption activities to ensure successful implementation.

• Build strong relationships across business, operations, technology, and partner teams.
• Facilitate alignment among stakeholders with competing priorities.
• Drive accountability by tracking commitments, action items, decisions, and next steps.
• Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to leadership and cross-functional audiences.

• Bachelors degree preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, project management, consulting, process improvement, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading small to medium-sized cross-functional projects or work streams.
• Demonstrated experience gathering business requirements and translating them into actionable solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience performing root cause and trend analysis.
